ABOUT LGS

OUR HISTORY

LGS Multan was established in 1998 as a small enterprise, initially offering pre and primary school education to a handful or children. From these modest beginnings, it gradually grew from strength to strength, expanding to offer O Level classes in 2003 and eventually moving its ever burgeoning student body into a brand new, purpose built campus at 12-A, Officers’ Colony in 2007. Six years later, in 2013, the number of students had increased to the point that the Senior School moved into yet another purpose built campus at 26-B Officers’ Colony.

The school launched its A’ Level Programme in August 2018. Today LGS Multan boasts a strength of more than 1700 students and a staff of over a hundred highly qualified teachers, offering quality education to students from all over Multan and its peripheral areas.

At LGS we believe in providing intellectual stimulation and opportunities for mental enrichment through curricular and co-curricular activities. Our aim is to teach students the value of honesty and hard work,  equip them with the skills needed to face the challenges of an ever-changing world and to develop among them a strong social conscience, motivating them to contribute positively towards society.

CONTNINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AT LGS MULTAN

It is an honour for Lahore Grammar School, Multan to be declared a Professional Development Centre by Cambridge International Examinations, the only school in Multan to receive this accreditation. This honour is a reflection of our belief that good teaching leads to good learning and a reaffirmation of our commitment to professional development in our organization. In the initial phase, ten of our staff members received comprehensive training over a period of five months and attained the Cambridge International certificate in Teaching and Learning. With their help we aim to establish a strong culture of continued professional development in the school. The names of our Cambridge certified teachers are:

  • Iram Zeeshan
  • Uzma Nadeem
  • Maryam Irshad
  • Hafsa Mariam
  • Uzma Arshad
  • Romana Shaheen
  • Amber Sajid
  • Komal Zeeshan
  • Shazina Shujaat
  • Sabeen Arshad

It is a matter of great pride for us that out of these ten, five teachers attained a distinction in the certificate programme.
