ABOUT LGS

LGS Multan was established in 1998 as a small enterprise, initially offering pre and primary school education to a handful of children. From these modest beginnings, it gradually grew from strength to strength, expanding to offer O Level classes in 2003 and eventually moving its ever burgeoning student body into a brand new, purpose built campus at 12-A, Officers’ Colony in 2007. Six years later, in 2013, the number of students had increased to the point that the Senior School moved into yet another purpose built campus at 26-B Officers’ Colony.

The school launched its A’ Level Programme in August 2018. Today LGS Multan boasts a strength of more than 1700 students and a staff of over a hundred highly qualified teachers, offering quality education to students from all over Multan and its peripheral areas.

FACILITIES

We believe that the future belongs to digitally literate individuals and to that end, both branches of LGS Multan have state-of-the art computer labs equipped with smart boards to facilitate learning through interactive programmes. A well-equipped science lab at the Junior School provides a discovery based environment to the younger children while the Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs at the Senior School conform to strict CIE standards and enable the students to consolidate their theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience.

Our libraries are a testament to the importance we place on reading. The LGS libraries cater to the diverse reading needs and abilities of a large student body. A special reading area is set aside for the pre-school children’s story time. The Junior School has a specially designed Activity Room, home to the latest Montessori equipment, toys, a DVD player and a large television where the children not only learn through play but also enjoy their favourite cartoon movies and documentaries.

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

In order to create an atmosphere of learning, creativity and fun, events such as Bonfires, Spring Festivals, Eid parties, Milads, Art and Science Exhibitions, Iqbal Day, Pakistan Day, Grandparents’ Day and Colour Week are organized regularly.

LGS Multan strives to promote healthy physical activity and looks upon sports as a means of enabling students to acquire stamina, discipline and determination. The children are taught Gymnastics and Taekwondo along with football, cricket, badminton, table tennis and basket ball. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-class debates, speech competitions, spelling bees, reading and poetry recitation contests, multimedia presentations and project work, thus providing each and every student the opportunity to explore his/her potential and optimize his/her individual strength.
